During the 1stWW the Greek Army was anxious to standardise their equipment. In the circumstances, in early 1918 the Adrian helmet was formally adopted. The French supplied the Greek with Adrian mle 1915/18 helmets. Save for the badge, the helmet was identical to the standard French helmet. The colour of the helmet was a mixture of light brown or khaki. The badge was made of stamped sheet metal (holow or solid) consisted of a shield with a raised border with the Cross and the Royal Crown above. It is not know how many of the helmets were supplied. Following the Great War was the Asia Minor Expedition until 1922. After that, in 1924 Greece became Democracy and the royal badge from the helmets was removed. In 1935 with the return of the Monarchy the emblem returned on the helmets of Officers and NCO. Despite the replacement of the Adrian with the M/34 most helmets were remained without emblem up during the Greek Italian War of 1940-41. The Khaki Depot copy comes in a size that fit most head sizes. The coat is removable and secure as the original by the meaning of two metal sheets.
