Greek Army Puttees M1938 [GAG38]

According the 1938 regulations puttees were made of special cloth but for easy of production and save time, many varieties manufactured of wool or cotton (made of either winter or summer uniform cloth in many shades) in one size and secured by cloth tapes. During the interwar period, puttees were the main cause for fines and reprimands for the regular and volunteer’s soldiers. Puttees should be clean and tight wrapped. There were two main ways of wrapping the puttees, before the 30’s the French way and after the British way.
