The Rimini Badge was created late in 1944 by an Order of the Day of the Commander of the Third Greek Mountain Brigade and this with full approval of the Greek General Staff. The Badge commemorates the pitched and victorious battle that was fought by the Brigade on 22 Sept. 1944 near Rimini, a seaport in NE Italy on the Adriatic. The decoration was worn by officers, NCO’s and men of the 3rd Greek Mountain Brigade during their active service. The Badge reverse is concave features a thin safe pin bar. The Badge was worn on the right side of the breast.
